Morphology

Works preoccupied with unstable form — figures and landscapes caught mid-transformation, neither fully one thing nor another. The subjects here resist resolution: a tree becomes a body, a body becomes architecture, decay opens into something not quite growth. This is plasticity in the literal sense — matter that has received a blow and cannot return to what it was. For me this is not metaphor but condition: the world reshapes itself indifferently, and we are reshaped with it.
